New Etsy Listings Finally! Some Pink, Some Autumn!

Finally finished putting some new items in my Etsy Shoppe. Here are a few with Pink just in time to join Beverly's Pink Saturday's blog hop. Don't forget to visit all the gals over there as you never know what wonderful things you will find posted. Now today I'm featuring LaVoice over at her blog Memes Corner as she is the most wonderful and energetic lady I know. LaVoice is 82 years young and bloggin' until 100! Probably longer than that as this is what keeps you young, staying active and involved. Have a wonderful weekend and as usual I have a zillion things to do but I'll be by for a visit shortly.

Etsy Cottage Colors Blog Hop

Looking forward to Autumn weather even though it has gone back to double digits in So.CA. today. I'm joining Etsy Cottage Colors Blog Party today to show a bit of Autumn as the color for this month is browns. This is a little display I quickly put together as I was still cleaning up the aftermath of the family room painting that we have been working on. While painting the one room everything went into the living/dining room area. Now as I clean and rearrange everything and put things away I moved my antique sewing machine and decide to add some fall colors while I was in the process. This is in the living/dining room and I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. Progress slowly but surely even in the heat. Don't forget to check out the other participants just click on the link above (Cottage Colors) and see what everyone else is doing. I hope to restock my Etsy shop by the first of October so I'm in the lets get busy mode between other things.  Have a great rest of the week!

Latest Bottle Art

Happy Pink Saturday to all of you Peeps! Today I'm sharing my latest creation and love of Bottle Art. I haven't had much creative time due to the painting of the family room/studio. I'm currently tryng to finish up my Giveaway project that was won by Tete of  Beyond the Garden Gate  and thank her for her patience while I get caught up. Today I'm linking up to Beverly's of How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday as it seems I haven't been able to get as many post in lately due to time constraints and must pace myself. Now for my bottle, this is the bottle that was mailed to Wanda for our ECS French Inspired Swap. I shared what Wanda sent me on Monday's post. I found I love creating bottle art and trying different mediums. Wanda's favorite colors are Pinks and soft pastels ect. So that made it easy to get started. This bottle has many layers with the final layer of wax. Each side is totally different which made it more interesting. If you get tired of looking at one side you can just turn it. That to me was fun and gave more chance for creativity. Hope you all have a great weekend and now back to slowly de-junking and putting stuff way as painting is Finished! Whoo-hoo.

WoW... Just Like Christmas!

That's right, just like Christmas! I recently participated in a French Inspired Swap within our Etsy Cottage Style group and my partner was Wanda Buxton from Roses in Winter. Wanda created the most lovely French Inspired Sewing kit from vintage linens and laces. The sewing kit has about everything in it a fashionable lady would have to carry and it is fashioned in Marie style. Just lovely as well as everything else that was enclosed in the box.  Thank You again Wanda! Take a peek and see what a wonderful gift this was. I mailed Wanda a French inspired Altered Art bottle and will show is on the next Pink Saturday post. Don't you just love Swaps, this was a great one! Have a wonderful and creative week! Now back to reality and the tail end of painting. Well actually my son is doing the work, I'm the organizer. We can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel now and I need a rest as my knee bothers  me a bit.

The painting is almost finished in my family room/studio and then the fun will begin! Putting things back, re-arranging and organizing to begin creating again. I can hardly wait. Hope to finish up and begin fresh in about a week. Sorry to be  bloggy drop out as in MIA but my friends but I had to get it done. This is the only way anything was going to get accomplished. Today I'm linking up with How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday. Have a great weekend all!
