Out of Commission for Awhile

Hi there my dear blogging friends! Before you think I'm gone for good I thought I would try to get a post up and let you know I will be out of commission for awhile.  I had a nasty fall and now I'm on the mend, slowly but surely. A big thank you to all my friends at Roses On My Table  for all the love and support you have shown me and the emails I have received from blogging friends too. Summers End with Falls Arrival

Here we are finishing off Summer with birthday celebrations and the beginning of Fall. I'm so happy the see the arrival of Fall this weekend but with mixed emotions. My oldest granddaughter has began her last year of High School and her younger sister is in Jr. High, rapidly following behind her. I'm so proud of them both as they are growing up to be lovely young woman with so much potential. Hard to believe another year has flown on by. Such precious memories I hold in my heart of these sweet girls that I'm so proud of. This time next year the oldest will be already off to college............. oh my......

I'm loving the cooler weather and plan on digging out the Harvest and Halloween decorations this weekend  so until then I will leave you with a bit of Halloween fun with a Tag I recently made. Wishing you a great weekend where ever you are and whatever you do.........

Happy Labor Day Weekend

Wishing you all a Happy Labor Day with family and friends.  I'm hoping for a cool off here in Sunny CA.   We are experiencing a heat wave,   Whew, about 102 degrees with little relief in site. I can't  wait until  Fall and I  have been trying  to work  on a few projects with the holidays in mind.  Some  Fabric art, crazy quilting projects and some mixed media projects, can't wait to show some new fun stuff! Until then.....

Fun For Fall Halloween Creations and Swaps

I have been busy trying to get ahead of my Halloween Swaps and have them finished early so I can get back to things for my Etsy shop, handmade holiday gifts for family and friends and Quilts for our church, that being said here are a few things I just completed:) I know it is early but after all you see it in the stores already so why not in Blogland?.....
How are your creations going or perhaps you are busy getting ready for school to start? Fall is on my mind and hopefully the weather will not be far behind with cooler temps and falling leaves, not so many in Southern CA. we still love the fall around here:) Linking up with Cottage Craft Room this week.
