FUN FRIDAYS MAGNIFICENT STAGHORN FERN

Not much has been accomplished this week in the way of creativity as crazy California winds have played havoc with my sinuses and energy due to a medical issues, but after a week of a Z-pack I'm on the mend. The lack of care to the plants on my porch is sad to see but the wonderful 100 lb  Staghorn fern never lets me down. Poor plant needs a dose of TLC and warmer weather conditions but still keeps going. The fern is so heavy that I'm no longer able to move it and is actually hanging from a meat hook since it did come down once and it required 2 adults to secure it back in place, thus the meat hook worked. It did start out small!! I must be doing something right or it just likes the location. I'm going out now to give that dose of TLC and look forward to a more productive week.

COMING SOON...NEW EXCLUSIVE BLOG BANNER...MANY THANKS SAM I AM

I can hardly wait for my Exclusive Blog design, ebay template and Etsy banner, thanks to the very talented  Sandy Wood. Sandy was and has created me my own look which includes pic's of family heirloom treasures! Mom's dress from 1908 and Mom's shoes from about 1912. I'm so blessed to even have these family treasures in my possession. My 35 year old daughter and 4 year old grand daughter were photographed in the dress when they were less than a year old. How special is that! A big thanks  Sandy for the your time put into the project. HUGS!!!!

FUN FRIDAYS

This week Sunny California turned into Windy California, with a bit of showers so the May flowers have had trouble with their blooming cycle. Sick Grandchildren to care for and various other things of that nature have slowed down the creative process, but progress has been made. Weather should be improving this weekend and Grandchildren are on the mend. What a blessing! I'm looking forward to a productive weekend! As you can see the flowers are coming along ready to spring forth into a different stage of creativity.  This is the Art of Paper Filigree, my speciality! I'm constantly looking for new ways to take this wonderful Art outside the box. Many surprises are in store for the rest of the year. My creations will take many twists and turns and sometimes I don't know myself what the end result will be until I achieve the look I want. I just love the journey as most Artist do. That is what creating is for me! " The Journey "

MORE FUN FRIDAY MY CHILDHOOD SEWING MACHINE

FUN FRIDAYS

Here I am, a Child of the 40's, a WIP (work in progress) still trying to improve my computer skills so I can work on my creations, I wish my techie skills were as well developed as my artistic skills. For anyone that reads this, Yes, I hope to post something eventually but until then all you will have is Fun Friday! I need all the help I can get in this later area. If anyone knows how to get to a 3 column page please let me know, then I will have accomplished one more step towards posting a creation. Last night I changed my blog backround and ended up with HTML in my header, LOL, OMG and my first thought was to pull out my eraser, you know, like the ones we used to use in school. I finally figured out by trial and error how to undo the big Whoops! I check out everyones blogs and think all of you artist out there are amazing especially with your computers. I know if I keep plugging along I'll get better. At least I can copy and paste now. SOS to anyone who can help with getting to 3 columns without losing what I have on here so far.
