Happy Labor Day Weekend

Wishing you all a Happy Labor Day with family and friends.  I'm hoping for a cool off here in Sunny CA.   We are experiencing a heat wave,   Whew, about 102 degrees with little relief in site. I can't  wait until  Fall and I  have been trying  to work  on a few projects with the holidays in mind.  Some  Fabric art, crazy quilting projects and some mixed media projects, can't wait to show some new fun stuff! Until then.....

Yeah, I can't believe it is so hot here in the central valley, as well as clear to Huntington Beach with the humidity and so many don't even have air conditioning in their houses as it just doesn't get like this in So. Calif. very often.
I love there pretty images you posted. I knew a lady who made wedding dresses on her singer sewing machine...no fancy stitches...no dial to backstitch...and the dresses she made were incredible...which is why it reminded me with the lady in the wedding gown photo.
We are spoiled rotten with our fancy sewing machines of the day.
Try to stay cool!
