HAPPY PINK SATURDAY "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE"

A VERY SPECIAL HANDMADE ANGEL
"JESUS" is THE REASON For The SEASON
Blessings and Happy Pink Saturday to all of you! As we share in posting our favorite movie I would say the one that comes to my mind is "It's A Wonderful Life" a very old movie classic. It may not be my Very favorite but it reminds me of the reason for the Season and it is a wonderful life and all need to do is slow down and take time for the people that we love including our families. I'm reminded once again how fragile life is and how important each and everyone of you are even if just in blogland. Life might not be exactly how we would like it to be but we are all connected. Thank you all for helping me reach 100 followers and just following me in general as you are special to me. The Pink Angel that hangs on my tree was made for me by my best friend many years ago when we were "oh so young". The Nativity that I purchased when I was with my Mom (Mom bought one too) when I was barely 20 years old. I have now been putting up the same Nativity for 48 years. Christmas comes and goes but the Reason for the Season remains the same. Today I'm linking up with Beverly from How Sweet The Sound so you can visit all the Pinkies for Pink Saturday. I will be announcing the winner of the Giveaways this weekend so make sure I have your email so your packages can ship by Monday! No I haven't drawn the names yet, as we still have a few more hours PST. Good Luck and Holiday Blessings to all!

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY and 100th FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY

Happy Pink Saturday everyone! Today I reveal my 100th Follower Giveaway gift, which is this little mischievous Reindeer below my Pink Paper Filigree Goose egg that I recently created! Many hours goes into this piece and it will be listed on ebay  or my Etsy as it is a "one of a kind" and I don't know that I will get another one created  this holiday season but you never know, maybe?? If so it will be different  as I only like to create OOAK pieces. Now about that reindeer, well she stuck her nose in my german glass glitter when I wasn't watching so I had to add some matching bling to her neck. Don't forget to spread the word and link back to my blog to have some extra winning chances as we have the 100th Blog post Giveaway gift also. Don't forget to visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to visit other participants and visit at least one blog you haven't visited before! Now go have some Pinky Fun!!

PINK SATURDAYS with BEVERLY

This is a pink chenille bedspread made into a shower curtain with a liner underneath. I just matched up the holes for the hangers to the liner and did a buttonhole stitch to hang with ease. I love old chenille and thought I should have some out to enjoy. I loved the old look!

These are my pinks from the top of a cupboard in the same bathroom and the pink in the  chenille shower curtain  really matches to this shade better. I have been under the weather this week with some kind of intestinal virus so this is all I'm up to posting, hope you all have a very Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Labor Day! WELCOME TO PINK SATURDAYS

Worlds Fair Chicago Tea Towel purchased at a yard sale 40 years ago for 50 cents, what a deal, this beauty hangs in my bath room as a guest towel and everyone knows it is for eye candy only!1933 Worlds Fair

This sweet lady is a porcelain pin cushion from my vintage pin cushion collection and she is surrounded by pink lovlies of pink and cream pearls from my 20's and graced by my Harmony Kingdom roses of deep pink and rose pink.

Sweet pink mini wire dress form holds a tube for water and rose bud, empty now usually holds my embroidery scissors. It stands about 8 inches tall.

Welcome to Pink Saturday and my first "Pink Post", last but not least is a small crocheted dress from a collection of pot holders but stands in my bathroom on top of a bottle of hand lotion. Too Pinky Cute!  I would like to  thank Beverly for hosting Pink Saturdays and allowing me to join the group of Pinky Gals, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun posting pic's and making new friends!
