BIRTHDAY WISHES and BLESSINGS!

"Happy Birthday to my First born Son, with Love". You were born in our youth, a time of love, hope, dreams and innocence. A gift given by our Creator, born out of love, never to be taken for granted, you made us proud, helped us grow and became more than we ever dreamed. You didn't come with a "How to Manual" instead you taught us. You formed a wonderful and loving bond with your Grandmother, making her sparkle. You made your Grandpa laugh and  look at his lawn in a whole new way when he cut down his golf clubs so you could put divets in his front yard. You were born in my youth, with me in my my middle years and now in the getting older years. We have been through the best and the most challenging of times.  Look at what a young Mother I was, not realizing how many different roads were ahead, we laughed, we loved and we cried and we Remember. Each and every step of the journey made us stronger. You are my rock, my joy and make me Proud to be a  Mother! You are "Loved" Happy Birthday!  Mom:)

Happy Pink Saturday to all of you Pinky Peeps! This has been a really busy week! I Hope you all had a great week and are trying to stay cool. I was searching through some stuff and came across the beautiful little baby dress and it is Pink so I had to share. This sweet little dress came from the lady across the street and was her daughters when she was a baby  dating back to the 1950's. The reason she gave it to me as  she had saved it for years and she is getting quite elderly now and wanted it to have a good home. (she lost her daughter to a drunk driver many years ago). It buttons on both shoulders for easy dressing and has sweet embroidery on the bodice. The sweet wooden hanger was my brothers when he was a  baby and Mom gave it to me with one of my baby dresses hanging on it, umm I need to find which trunk that is in?? Another search for another day I'm afraid. Now the table that you see the dress on is my great find at the Goodwill this week for $34.00, It has a leaf and is very solid (oak) in great condition. Why am I telling you this?? Well it is going in my studio/family room for my art workshop and I'm looking forward to a major re-do in that room, more organized with more space.  Waiting until the weather cools off to paint. Sharing the Love ... of Creativity That Is... Tags Created for the BirdSong Tag Swap and Summer Thoughts

 Here are a few tags I created for The Birdsong Tag Swap hosted by Karla of Karlas Cottage. This has started out to be a busy and productive summer with lots of creating, reorganizing and cleaning out stuff. Then we have 2 months filled with birthdays that started in June and will continue through Labor Day along with BBQ's and other activities. The weather is beautiful and filled with Sunny days and Smiles, throw in a little creative time, a few visits to Knott's Berry Farm and it just doesn't get better than this! Enjoy the simple things in life and happiness will surely come your way!
