In The Mood For Gardening

Looking forward to more warm weather and fixing pretties on the porch, what are your warm weather
plans? This is a pic of my Staghorn  fern on my front porch and a few roses from the backyard. I think the front yard is in some need of color, don't you? Time to garden between other projects! A Journey Of Journals

Happy weekend my fellow blogging friends, I can't believe that is has been a month since I have put together a post for this blog of mine. I have just been really busy and I do find it hard to manage two blogs, so that being said I guess until I decide which one to keep or keep plugging away on both this is is the best I can do. My other blog is for all creative endeavors and this blog for more shabby cottage  and vintage style creations. So depending what your interested in you may want to check one or the other to see what you prefer.  I think now I must be the queen of journals as I have about four in the works including the on going one of my sweet dear Mom. Here is the cover of the latest and it will contain about five signatures. I hope all is well in your world and all is good, with my special cyber family and friends. For the Love of Dolls

Today I'm linking up with  Cottage Vintage Style to share my latest bit of fun creating some Art Dolls from a recent class I have taken. I learned alot of tips and techniques and had a great time, though next time I would choose deeper colors So many ways to create these fun dolls and so little time to accomplish all that I have in mind, so a bit at a time as I love learning new things. Little Pink Bunny Fou Fou

Finally finished my sweet baby bunny from the Needle felting class I recently took! I would love to make a couple more but not sure it will happen before Easter. This one went pretty quickly and turned out quite nice for my first needle felting project. The talented Judy Johnson of  Bay Colony Designs  had a class over at  Roses On My Table,  a great class if anyone is looking to do a fun Easter project! Judy will also be teaching at the Artful Gathering if you miss out on her bunny class. Today I'm linking up to  How Sweet the Sound   to share with a few more of the pinky gals. Block of the Month for CQJP 2013

Hi there my to all my blogging friends! I'm just popping in to share my "Block of the Month" for  CQJP 2013  I signed up  to complete a block a month for a year and this my January block. A relaxing little piece of art to do in the evening while being a couch potato in front of the TV. My Sunday evening project actually while watching Downton Abbey, a favorite of mine I might add. This is just one of the few things I have been up to recently in my spare time. What do you do when you watch a favorite show?? Geez... if I don't do something I might fall asleep after a busy day.
