FUN FRIDAYS

This week Sunny California turned into Windy California, with a bit of showers so the May flowers have had trouble with their blooming cycle. Sick Grandchildren to care for and various other things of that nature have slowed down the creative process, but progress has been made. Weather should be improving this weekend and Grandchildren are on the mend. What a blessing! I'm looking forward to a productive weekend! As you can see the flowers are coming along ready to spring forth into a different stage of creativity.  This is the Art of Paper Filigree, my speciality! I'm constantly looking for new ways to take this wonderful Art outside the box. Many surprises are in store for the rest of the year. My creations will take many twists and turns and sometimes I don't know myself what the end result will be until I achieve the look I want. I just love the journey as most Artist do. That is what creating is for me! " The Journey "

Thank You, I have been doing Paper Filigree since the early 1970's and I'm a self taught artist always looking to try something new, however other than a few boutique type shows when I was much younger I have never marketed anything handmade, just given it for gifts, eventually you run out of people to give it too. So here I am just for the love of it!
