Journal Fun Birthday Gift

I recently mailed a birthday gift for my dear friend and she just loved it. I thought I would share this with you. Just a little something easy to do and a lot of fun. I started with an arch and layered luncheon paper napkins for my images for the arch, inked the edges and then applied sheet music, a coffee stained doily, some crinkled seam binding, a vintage earring and millinery flowers from an old hat. This was my latest  bit of fun!

A wonderful Birthday Greeting for your friend. I love the bird and I do have those same napkins. They are beautiful. I used them on my pumpkin last season. Perfect for so many crafts.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi sweetie, love it and you certainly did this napkin justice. I always forget about what you can do with them. Never tried, I have several people have sent to me. Thanks to my friend Marilou I can go play today. To bad we don't live closer. We would get into trouble. xoxoxo

What a beautiful collage. I love your centre bird image and the way you have arranged all your additions.
Napkins are such a versatile material.
