2ND ANNUAL ROOSTER PARTY HOSTED by BELLA VISTA MY FUN FRIDAY!!

FARM BOY IS MY ROOSTER KEEPER OF THE KITCHEN
THE KING OF THE KITCHEN IS COMING RIGHT UP!
KING OF THE KITCHEN
Since I joined at the last minute I thought I would show you my very Favorites as the rest of my collection has joined my daughters kitchen and will have to be shared next year as she "had to have them" as she has a full on Rooster and Hen Kitchen but these didn't want to fly the coop! I can't say that I blame her as at least they found a great place to roost! Enjoy the Rooster Party and have fun!! A big note of thanks to Barb for letting me join the fun at the last minute, please visit all the participants and thank her for being such a lovely host!

SINGER SEWING MACHINE FIRST VINTAGE BLACK FRIDAY POST

This is me as a child in 1946 and this is my vintage Singer Sewing machine that I made doll clothes on as a child. I loved to make clothes from scraps of fabric for my Storybook dolls, the ones in the Polka Dot boxes! Does anyone remember them? I spent many a summer day cranking that little wheel round and round while feeding the fabric under the foot to make my creations. My what fun I had. I still love to sew today and I'm sure glad that I don't have to hand crank out my sewing projects, what progress we have made in machines, I still have this machine and it is about 58 years old and sits in my sewing room as a great memory of childhood days gone by!

WELCOME TO PINK SATURDAYS

Worlds Fair Chicago Tea Towel purchased at a yard sale 40 years ago for 50 cents, what a deal, this beauty hangs in my bath room as a guest towel and everyone knows it is for eye candy only!1933 Worlds Fair

This sweet lady is a porcelain pin cushion from my vintage pin cushion collection and she is surrounded by pink lovlies of pink and cream pearls from my 20's and graced by my Harmony Kingdom roses of deep pink and rose pink.

Sweet pink mini wire dress form holds a tube for water and rose bud, empty now usually holds my embroidery scissors. It stands about 8 inches tall.
