Early Morning Thoughts and Footprints

This morning as I began my day and was working down my "to do" list I went to get gas and while I was in the moment of "getting the gas" it brought to mind how truly grateful I am that I didn't have to wait in line, gas was available and I actually had the ability to pay, the pumps were working  and all that goes with that one little thing we take for granted. My thoughts and prayers go out to all that have been affected by the storm and all the destruction it has caused including loss of life. This Post and Prayer is for them. I have always carried a copy with me in my purse as it reminds me of the times of my life when I know it applied. Today I'm linking with Beverly of How Sweet the Sound  and feeling very grateful for my day.

We have so much to be thankful for, it's easy to forget sometimes.

I love your perspective. I too got gas this morning and to be honest never gave a thought about it, for the first time in a long time I know I could fill up the tank and not sweat it this week. I missed the opportunity to be thankful. Thank You for reminding me.

An eye opener, I always do my little talk with "Him" up there before I go to sleep and thank him for things that we have for the day.

I was just on Linda's blog and saw what the tree did to her house. We lost power in Michigan but nothing compared to those out East. Thank you for the reminder. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Marilou,
Yes, I too am so thankful that we are safe in our homes and I could not even imagine being in such a situation. My husband and I talk about it cause how would we manage with him being an invalid. Dear Lord help us all. Lovely post. Happy Pink Saturday, Hugs...Lu
