Happy Pink Saturday "A Royal ROSE to REMEMBER"

Happy Pink Saturday everyone! What a beautiful Royal Wedding we were witness to! Just like a Fairytale, what all little princesses dream about. I was trying to figure out what I could use as an appropriate Post for today and it came to me that many years ago I purchased this beautiful Pink Gold Rose that was created as a tribute to the late Princess Diana and the funds went to one of her charities. It is a Pink Gold Rose and if you would like to read the card, just right click it for better viewing and feel free to copy it if you would like. I'm sure Diana would have been very proud and just loved this day, I'm sure she was watching from above. Don't forget to visit Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for more wonderful Pinks and blog participants. Today I'm featuring Sandi of Rose Chintz Cottage, she has a wonderful blog and is such a sweet lady you should all go and give her a visit!

What a lovely pink/gold rose. I don't remember seeing that offered when she so tragically died. I didn't get over it for weeks....it just did not seem real!
Yes, she would have been proud today and I thought it was sweet that Prince William bit his lower lip now and then, just like his Mama when she was a bit nervous.
Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Marilou,
The pink and gold pin is just lovely! The wedding was magnificent but I must admit I was sad that Diana was not there. She would have been so proud of her boy today!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. How thoughtful and sweet of you to give me an honourable mention in your post. Thanks so much! Happy Pink weekend to you.

Blessings,
Sandi

Happy Pink Saturday Marilou Sweetie...
Yes what a gorgeous wedding today. I know that Princess Di was smiling down as she watched her 2 sons enter the church together. How handsome and what fine young men she raised. I loved every single minute of it. I was up at 1am and had myself right in front of the TV just watching and waiting. What excitement it was.

I love, Love, LOVE this beautiful rose. It is so elegant and the perfect touch to a perfect day today. A new couple to bring new life to the Royal family.

Have a glorious weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hi Marilou! the wedding was so beautiful, Princess Diana would have been so proud of both her boys. What a beautiful keepsake you were able to get... I bought the dishes that have the same design on them as the pearl tiara she wore. I never used them though and I don't think I ever will. In a way the wedding was both beautiful and sad too. Come visit my blog I have something to tell you. ;o) Hugs, Jennifer

Hi Marilou, thanks for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment today.
I too watched the wedding and thought everything about it was wonderful. I loved Catherine's dress and Pippa's dress too. I loved seeing all the hats. For me, I had two favorite parts, when Harry turned around and saw Catherine and whispered to William and when William looked at Catherine and appeared to say You look beautiful. Have a wonderful week my friend, xxoo Nan

Hi Marilou,

That's such a pretty pin.
I don't have a live feed for tv.
I only watch my favorite shows on dvd.

So the internet and radio is how I keep
up with everything else. I've seen clips
from the wedding...just beautiful and magical in every way.

Pink Sparkles for your day,
Stephanie ♥

Hi Marilou,

What a beautiful rose pin. I haven't watched the wedding, but hoping to on our pay per view. Sorry I haven't been by for such a long time, my computer is down and I'm having to borrow my daughter's when I can. I'm hoping to have it fixed soon so I can get back to blogging and creating. Have a wonderful week.

Happy Belated Pink Saturday Marilou and CONGRATULATIONS for being featured in the bloggerette sorority blog. Debi did a very nice job.
I watched every second of the Royal Wedding including the reruns and then pictures on the internet...being a hat person I loved the hats and fascinators...I made 2 fascinators after watching the wedding....the wedding was so pure and full of love....there is much happiness coming their way. Catherines dress was stunning and so was Pippas.
Your pink/gold pin is stunning. I love it....I Loved The Queen of Hearts....so beautiful and such a sad life but she raised her boys to be strong, kind, loving, and respectful. I adore Prince Harry.
Have A Sugar Sweet Day

Such a lovely fitting post for this weekend. I was one that did not watch the wedding although I watched Diana's. I do remember the Rose and the note after her death. How nice of you to share it again with all of us. Blessings.
